Two Cards - One Design

It's much easier to make two cards while I still have the supplies out and have the design planned out. I started with the 'thank ewe' lambs card and then moved to the 'Thinking of You' birds card. This method gives me a second card for not much more effort, yet keeps me from getting bored by not making an exact repeat.

I found the adorable lambs, birds and coordinating sentiments and circle stamps at the Endless Creations booth at the Rubber Stamp convention we attended last July. (EC) I used The Paper Cut Triple Circle Card Making Die which Endless Creations also sells. (EC/TPC) They sell the die as well as pre-cut card bases in various colors.

I used a circle die after I stamped the dots circle stamps. (EC) Next I stamped the sentiment (EC) and lambs (EC) in the circles. Then I colored the lambs with my Nuvo Creative Pens. (S/MMI) The blue cardstock is from The Paper Studio. (HL) The rose trim and Picked Raspberry ink (S) is Tim Holtz. The other cardstock and papers are from my stash.

I thought the birds (EC) would look good with this color scheme. I used the single line circle stamp instead of the dots stamp from the set. I also used a different sentiment stamp set which also works well with the circles. (EC)

I like that Endless Creations has so many adorable options for the card making dies. I also like the quality of their cling stamps.

Blessings,

Julie
